I believe that books are better than television here is a brief version of my reasons. firstly, you don’t have to finish reading the book in one day. secondly, you can pause and come back whenever you want. Thirdly, you can take your book anywhere unlike television. You can read books on apps for free. And finally books don’t waste as much electricity as a TV does.
Firstly, with movies you have to watch them in a short time of a day. Yes, you can pause it but if your gone for too long you will forget what was happening and your TV may over heat. And it’s like watching paint dry! With books you can leave and come back whenever you want.
Secondly, with a TV you can’t just pause your favourite show or news but with books all you have to do is grab a bookmark, discarded paper, or fold the corners to save your spot then you can come back anytime to read again whether its tomorrow, the next day, or the next week.
Thirdly, you can take your book anywhere you desire, all you have to do is carry it around in a small light bag, whereas Tv’s there’s nothing you can do it stays in one place and that’s it. Even if you do have a small TV obviously you can’t take it anywhere one because it’s still too big and two because you need a power point and all the cords and wires to plug it in.
You can read books not only on books but other things like apps such as Wattpad and others. Reading books on apps is easy and free which is why you should get books rather than a television.
And finally, books only use electricity if you’re in the dark and you use a lamp though you don’t even have to you can use things like candles to provide light, but you have to use electricity for a Tv.
